Getting there

Hosting a New Year's Eve party for friends, something we have been doing for 30  or more years, but sadly our numbers are starting to dwindle from the original 12 down to 10. Sadly one of our number passed away just before Christmas, and there is one absentee tonight owing to illness. We all contribute a course and I am doing a Beef and Venison casserole with mashed potato and broccoli.Much time spent on moving furniture about and other preparations.
