Year's End Walk

Despite a dire forecast the day suddenly brightened and we enjoyed a walk at Aden.  Although the light was superb and there was an air of false Spring it was decidedly soggy underfoot. Today's images are chosen simply because I liked the effect of the winter.sunlight on the buildings and trees - an uplifting end to an at times  dispiriting year.

The main shows the Victorian laundry  to the left are the remains of the gasworks.
The extras are the mansion house and a particularly attractive section of woodland path.
