It'll have to be Hercules

After a trip into Norwich this morning to get a few things in the sales, I had a drive over to Kelling Heath to grab a steam shot of one of the Mince Pie trains.  I was hoping it would be The Royal Norfolk Regiment which has recently returned from repair and which I know was running yesterday, but today it was Hercules on duty, so here it is approaching the cutting and hill up to Windpump Crossing.

We have some nice wild sea bass for a New Years Eve meal which I will do with a favourite Gill Mellor recipe.  I'm sure the odd drink will be involved but it's highly unlikely we'll still be awake at midnight.  I rather suspect we'll be celebrating New Year in Istanbul.
