Floodgate

A couple of days of very heavy rain. Weather warnings for nearly all of Scotland and Edinburgh’s Hogmanay party cancelled.

The river burst it’s banks and thankfully it wasn’t too bad but enough to let us try out or flood defences.

Pleased to report that they functioned very well. Hopefully we won’t have to use them again any time soon.
