Look into My Eye
I've done very little since my boy left on the 29th. I've thoroughly enjoyed doing very little. I perused my gifts and flicked through a new cookbook and fermentation book. I have started a sourdough starter, and I have eaten chocolate.
It has been most pleasant.
Today, I had the pleasure of looking after Cal. I had no idea that nurseries closed over Chtistmas and New Year, leaving working parents a little stuck. Given that Cal's daddy has been offshore since the 23rd, Cal's G&G have already taken up a fair bit of slack. It really is no hardship. He is full on fun these days. We spent a hood amount of time tooting through this tube before I showed him we could look through it. He liked that a lot. A new perspective on his world.
Later, my girl & beau, sister and bil, will be coming round for a low-key evening. Hopefully, we will see the bells, but we can't guarantee it.
Whatever you are doing (or, in some cases, did), I hope it's fun.
