Top of the pile

I thought the last day of the year might be a little brighter, but it's just as wet and windy as the last couple of weeks! We three went down town to shop for a few items before the whole world closes down for New Year.

I'm not usually allowed to accept books as presents unless I give one away, (!) but I was pleased to find that one of my Christmas pressies was a book! It was the fourth book of Michael Palin's diaries - I already have the first three! Some interesting reading ahead.

Back to sorting the London pictures this afternoon, mostly views from the Shard, then a game of 'Pointless'.
