I used to be well heeled .....

Firstly, thank you very much for all the lovely comments, hearts and stars on my eleventh blip yesterday.  You're such a lovely supportive community!

I've been doing a bit of sorting out today and got round to sorting and tidying the glory hole under the stairs.  It's looking much better now.  Not a good blip subject though!

A couple of days ago I felt a swish,swish as I was walking in my walking boots which as you can see, was caused by a heel smiling at me as it hung off.   I'll take it to the old fashioned cobbler in town next week but I fear that after many years wear and other faults too, it will be condemned.  It's not that I'm too meanto buy a new pair but these are SO comfortable!  (The things that we save for an emergency blip).

Today is New Year's Eve and 2024 is leaving us with wild weather - wind and rain, much like the stormy year just gone.  It's been a stormy year on the world stage too, especially with the wars going on.  Let's hope that it will be a calmer 2025 on all counts.
