Early ferry

A very early start for mum and the girls today on the 0700 ferry from Lochmaddy. Pancakes for breakfast and a bumpy crossing. Courageous decision!

Turned out to be an epic adventure. The suspension broke on dad’s vehicle, then our other vehicle got damaged going through a flooded road along Loch Ness. The RAC were being very unhelpful but the lovely folk at the Loch Ness hotel fixed it and got it on the road again.

We all then went to see Papa in hospital then onwards to Aberdeen for Hogmanay.
