Sgwarnog: In the Field

Strand

A quick visit to the beach before visiting my Mum and then catching the train back. The strand line was littered with shells, seaweed, whelk egg cases and very little plastic. And Rhyl may be deep in the off-season, but there were still a few kids attempting to build sandcastles.

The journey back was much smoother than the one across: no cancellations or significant delays. I didn’t feel much like reading, but my catch-up radio programmes and looking out the window kept me entertained.
