Cocky food

We have quite a nice walnut tree out near our back gate and most years it produces a good crop of walnuts which should reach maturity in the first few weeks of each year. They never quite get there as the Sulphur Crested Cockatoos swarm in as if on queue and destroy the lot. They chew each stem off a few inches from the nuts, throw it on the lawn and take one big bite out of each nut, the same as they do with apples or stone fruit.
Today blip is the “before” shot - I’ll blip a not so nice “after” shot in a few weeks.
