15 years of Blipping

From time to time through December I've been pondering what to Blip today, my fifteenth year of blipping, with no real inspiration.  Then, Christmas arrived and, with it, the family and it has been a wonderful few frenetic days till this morning. The Oxford family were packing the car for departure whilst Euan was finishing his Lego, still in his pjs and with his bed hair, and I thought, well what better for a special blip but a very special boy who has grown up to his five years on Blip.

Thank you to everyone involved behind the scenes in Blip for this unparalleled, safe, friendly, supportive place to record our memories, and what a lot there have been over the fifteen years.  I have lost count of the number of times I access my blips:  to locate a particular day or event; to while away some down time;  to compare across the years, it is an invaluable record and resource.

Thank you as well to all of those who drop by regularly, many of whom live locally, many further away, who I count amongst my friends.  I have met several Blippers in person and hope to meet more this coming year.  I often quote ValC's young grandson warning her not to meet people off the internet when several of us grey haired ladies got together for a walk with our cameras!

And here I go on the next fifteen years of blipping!
