Cross-polarisation

One of the gifts I got for Christmas (from Mike) was an A3 lightpad. (Like a lightbox, but only about 1cm thick. Mike wondered what I wanted it for - as I'd hardly describe myself as an artist!

So far, my 13 year blip was lit from below using it. My Marmite focus stack yesterday was lit by its beautifully diffused light from above, and todays was a direct shot using an A3 polarising gel, with a polariser on my lens to create great cross polarised light of some of the plastic food trays we've eaten the contents off over the Christmas period.

I love it!
