My girl

That little toothy tooth is a bit sinister... It must have been something in her dream. She's done a lot of dreaming today. Under blankets keeping out the chill. There is a cool south-easterly blowing the year out.

This photo is for our fellow Blipper, NannaK who is seeing in her last new year with enormous grace and honesty. 

I constantly 'meet' people on Blip who I admire, respect, am in awe of, laugh with, empathise with and who fascinate me. We witness and share celebrations of births, marriages, significant birthdays and other events. 

It is unusual to have the privilege of witnessing somebody's final days, but NannaK has opened her heart to us, speaking about death and sharing her thoughts and hopes about it. It is an honour to read her words each day. 

So may 2025 bring us happiness. And if life is short, may death be gentle and may it be a peaceful release.
