Charity Tractor Run

At Christmas the local farmers organise a tractor run for local charities. This year they were covered in lights for Orkney Prostate Cancer Awareness and Orkney Kidney Patient Association.  There's one run in Kirkwall and one down here in South Ronaldsay. There were eight tractors and loaders that came through the village!  Great to see them, and hear them, horns blaring, with all their multicoloured lights. They raise a fantastic amount of money on a Just Giving page and it's become part of our Christmas.
