Weather a bit breezy - apparently torchlit procession was cancelled last night at short notice, and during the day I saw that they've cancelled 'Edinburgh's' Hogmany tomorrow night. Oh well.

I did go out as far as the corner shop, but nothing to be seen on the WoL apart from a few black-headed gulls in the distance keeping their beaks into the wind - much like CJ's oystercatchers but not nearly as photogenic!

Pointed the camera out of the window hoping for a pic of Stewart the seagull who has come onshore doubtless due to the bad weather, but he flew off, and then the magpie that was rummaging around in the tree outside flew off as well.

So all we have left is a few leaves - I'm amazed that they're still holding on.
