Boxing Day Run

It was another very crisp, very clear day, the air incredibly dry. I planned a route of three loops on the road, not sure how I'd handle running too far in these very cold temperatures. As it turned out, once warmed up, I was fine. I managed to cruise along at 9 min/mile pace without much stress, for 14 miles, just stopping a couple of times for photographs. Today told me that the marathon distance isn't scary!

It's a very pretty place to run. There was very little traffic on the roads and the cars that did pass gave me massive amounts of space. Everyone here in New England is very courteous.
