Second last day of the year 2024

The year 2024. You did not treat me kindly. 

A brain metastasis was diagosed in January, then brain surgery, brain radiation therapy, recovering, and rehabilitation of my right hand. I'm still very tired and the hand is not what is used to be.

My friend Elina died in September, she had the very same diagnosis what I have.

However, also good things happened! We celebrated our 30th anniversary in Paris <3 Leevi and Ella moved into a common home. Emma had a great summer job and has done great work with her studies..

In the picture is a Blossa 24 bottle. There is Nessie!

Blossa 24 is a white starkvinsglögg and the classic spice blend is begilded with smoky, Scottish whisky and rounded off with the algae dulse, which adds both saltiness and umami. The taste of whisky enhances the character in the glögg’s original sweetness, and the smokiness is a particularly good match with the clove. The algae as ingredient is a nod to the legend of the sea creature hiding in the tangled depths of Loch Ness. The magical atmosphere of the Scottish Highlands is also illustrated on the design of this year's bottle.
