UFO

( Unidentified Fungal Object)
I debated with myself whether to use this photo as it’s really not sharp so don’t look too closely. I’m intrigued by this fungus growing on the stump of a cherry tree. It might even be a slime mould?
Past experience has taught me that it might have gone tomorrow when the light is better so here it is. The creamy coloured bits are sort of granular and the dark brown is a clear liquid oozing out.
All identification information welcomed.

Edit. I asked about this on a mushroom identification  Facebook group and the answer was
Hydnellum Peckii. The devils tooth fungus.
