Peas in a pod

Despite my best efforts to prevent attack from mammals by erecting a substantial fence around the plot, from birds by covering it with netting, from snails and slugs by some underhand techniques, my first crop of peas has been sabotaged by the humble caterpillar.

Not to worry, plenty of protein included in this pan!
