Two more days left of
this eventful year - I am
ready to leave it!

I was up at 6 and ready to do the grocery run in the dark. As I came out of the store, the eastern sky was beginning to glow. I caught some colour from the parking lot and then some more from Far West Avenue as I neared home. 

I was home, groceries stored and coffee in hand before the sun peeked over the mountains just shy of 8. 

I sat a canvas on my easel with some expectation that I would apply paint to it. I've already wiped paint off my floor and my socks.....now for the canvas. It's a struggle. I'll have to coach my way through this. It's just paint...
