Bitchy resting face
Bitchy resting face. I love this phrase. If you haven't read about it recently, it refers to people who (unknowingly) have a bitchy face when they are just going about their daily life (hence 'resting face' or screensaver as I call it!)
Well this morning I definitely had a 'bitchy resting face'. Had another bad nights sleep (bloody hormones) and was still feeling rubbish. Third day now. To make matters worse, my husband (on a random day off) also woke up on the wrong side of the bed. We were both bears with sore heads.
I had to get out so when Audrey was on her morning nap, I headed down Beech Road for a coffee and a chapter of my book (see pic). Felt good to escape.
By the time I got back, moods had been restored and we headed out to Didsbury for the day. Audrey fell asleep on our walk so we managed to have lunch uninterrupted in the bakery cafe on Burton Road.
Went to the Trafford Centre in the afternoon. Angus looked after Audrey. We're getting much better at sharing the load and giving each other breaks. Our holiday taught us this.
Steaks from the butchers, Axon's of Didsbury with the Michael Caine and Plan B movie 'Harry Brown' tonight. It is very dark and depressing so far,...might bring 'bitchy resting face' back if I'm not careful.
