I touched your car

On Christmas Eve someone left a note saying they ‘touched my car’ , rolling in to the front after leaving the handbrake off. My car probably saved an accident as the trajectory would have taken it into a main road. I thought it was nothing, but a proper inspection reveals that the touch has put a few things out of line including the bonnet. Another problem to sort out. Very grateful that the person informed me and offered to pay.
It was a fine day today in the garden ( see EXTRA,) and we made the long trip to the care home in Macclesfield for a visit to my 98 year  old mum in law. How precious time is. Son and daughter in law were hosting friends so we were better out of the way. And here is a bench on the footpath on the old railway line at Higher Kinnerton which celebrates its history with a village sign and history trail. EXTRA
