The Christmas tree in Market Square…

This tree caused controversy when it was first put there because it’s smaller than previous years but putting it on a raised floor and adjusting the top cover means it now looks pretty much like other years. Phew social media crisis averted!

And as I was taking this pic I realised I’d forgotten my rucksack to carry my shopping home but luckily I had my little emergency Cath Kidson bag which was fine for the two things on my list (which turned into 3 when I saw the Coop were selling BENDICKs Mint Collection at a discounted price) so I carried on firstly to Specsavers to get my green specs adjusted a tiny bit. Now that will probably be a very expensive free adjustment because on the way out the door I just had to look at their specs. I have to admit that since I was about 10 years old I’ve had an absolute obsession with glasses. That was when I started going into Boots regularly to try on sunglasses and I have a pic of me in Jersey with what I thought at the time were the bees knees of sun specs! Well that obsession is still as strong and costs me a Kings Ransom. I had my eyes tested about a year ago and have 3 pairs; 1 clear and 2 reaction. If I order the pair I fell in love with today I would want them clear which would suit them best but would also satisfy my OCD by having 2 clear and 2 reaction. There are just so many reasons why I will order these.
