We went out on the bikes but...

....but a boat would've been better.

The lanes were flooded, muddy and challenging, luckily I was on a gravel bike and my father on a hybrid/MTB.

The ride itself was great and the sun even made an appearance, I really needed a good workout too so the hilly routes were taken.

Later on it was dinner around my sisters (Guinness beef stew) followed by a few games of pool.
