Same but different

These flowers (dimorphotheca) are in pots on our deck,  side by side. One pot is thriving and the other just surviving. Another of life's little mysteries. 

I spent a large chunk of the day at the mall with mum. The weather was cool and wet so there wasn't much else to do. A lot of other people had the same plan. Busy is an understatement. 

This afternoon I began the task of putting away some Christmas ornaments. It takes quite a while to finish the job and often I find something that escaped the clean up a week or two later.
