Wee Jimmie Ba

Apparently, it's been six years since the annual twixmas mystery tour. Covid makes four understandable but I've no idea why it's been six. Anyway, it was organised. Ian offered his bus for petrol money. I happened to be in the Ship at the time and it would have been rude to say no so I duly assembled at 11.45am, after handing over a kidney to Kwik Fit, and the bus tour started. Inauspiciously finding the first planned pub shut (the Old Ship Inn in Lochgelly - permanently by the look of it) we ended up in Wee Jimmie's in Cowdenbeath. A fine place. Others variably fine. The Amritsar curry in Kirkcaldy was very good indeed and much needed but it was the end of me. Happy to sit on the bus and be transported home for an early night.
