Out in the strong West wind to the gym. Was 10 minutes too late to avoid noisy children in the pool - holiday hours.  Walked back by the Water of Leith path, busy with tourists, intending to go to the farmers' market - no market. 

Out later in the day to visit neighbours along the street. They've been being sociable over the holiday season, more so than we have.
