All Change

Doesn’t take long for the ‘holiday’ to appear in the rear view mirror. I had chance to say my “cheerio’s” to Janet and John over a quick breakfast of toast and coffee before heading off to pick up Richard for my first Treliske run of the day, this one to the Headland Unit.
Janet & John set off for Paris via Bristol Airport, what should have been a three hour journey took so long that they eventually overnighted in Bristol!
Returning from the hospital to Richards workshop over a coffee I wired up his workshop glitter ball ready for Mondays party.

Home for a sandwich and catch up with Mrs S before the afternoon run to Treliske with Richard, this one to the Pre-Op Assessment Unit. Not as long as either of us expected, I’d just settled into the second episode of my podcast.
Back home for almost the last of the Christmas food, a better year this year, virtually nothing wasted. Mrs S and I briefly contemplated moving back up to our bed, we gave it up to Janet and John, but decided our new sofa bed in the back lounge was so comfortable that one more night wouldn’t hurt.
Today’s photo; Mrs S’s home made Christmas Cake, the fruit soaked in Spiced Rum. Aside from one slice for John it’s all mine.
