Short and grey days

I started this book today. Karen Swan is one of my favourite authors. I've read a lot of her books.
Pegged some washing out this morning and was not optimistic it would dry on another grey day but a breeze arrived in a while and by the time I brought it in it had had partially dried.
I've not been out walking and in fact, I am not sure where the day has gone. I didn't do a lot in the house, only bits of jobs.
