Sunday: Comfrey Flowers
I slept until 8 o’clock this morning, MrD had got up a little before this.
After breakfast I refilled the bird feeders and noticed that the pink and white comfrey flowers were beginning to open - they are much earlier than the larger blue flowers, comfrey was also the subject of my first Blip - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/1871947 and are useful later in the year :-)
I decided to give the downstairs cloakroom a good clean, it was at the bottom of the list of jobs …
MrD was pottering in his shed and I moved a few pots in the garden and propped the blackcurrant bush up with a stack of bricks, the wind has been blowing it over - when the ground has dried a little I’ll put a wooden stake next to it.
This afternoon we both watched “Hamza: Strictly Birds of Prey” on iPlayer - we have many birds of prey on Anglesey and this programme was a joy to watch, the birds themselves and the presenters who were so enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
Later, I watched “Agatha Christie: Lucy Worsley on the Mystery Queen” also on iPlayer, finished off the evening watching “Fools and Horses”.
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
