Shrewsbury & St Chad's
We left Oxfordshire mid morning and sat in the 'foggy carpark' that was the motorway!
Eventually we made it to Shrewsbury just before it got dark. We visited Ebenezer Scrooge's grave in the cemetery of St Chad's, then went inside the church to see the lovely display of Christmas trees, all sponsored by local businesses, schools and clubs.
Before we went our separate ways, we called at an old pub in the historic village of Hodnet, hoping for dinner but having to settle for just drinks as they were fully booked. Must go back, as it looked lovely.
