Stretched Out .

The Photo is of our soon to be DIL stretched out on the couch with her mum looking on . It amused me that all we could see was one foot and one hand . She has been unwell over christmas but managed to keep everything going with the help of paracetamol and sudafed . I kept mentioning rubbing vicks into her feet but she was not interested !

I  was pleased to wake up at Nats , feeling no ill effects ,after a late night out during which I had imbibed more alcohol than is usual for me . We had spent the evening in a pub playing music bingo with a lot of other very merry adults. The pub was decorated in the style of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and very pleasing it was too. The final round involved standing on the tables and singing at the top of our voices , we won ! We were less lucky with the lines and full house but we had great fun. 
We drove home on the backroads  in the fog rather than risk the M62 again , which is generally heavily congested and had time to unpack everything before catching up on the christmas episode of Dr Who.
