Lending a helping hand

Eborienteers my club was hosting an event on Allerthorpe Common this morning. I volunteered to work on the start. This was the walk from assembly to the start. I was accompanied by Blipper Sheila who was starting early so that she could help on the second shift. 

A lovely morning to stand and catch up with friends as they passed through to start their courses.

Liked the contrast between man made and natural environments. You can just see the start banner at the bend of the track.
