Sunshine

After a hectic day yesterday it was nice to have a lay in: Early afternoon we met our friends and neighbours in Monmouth (South Wales, UK) for coffee and a chat.

Outside the coffee shop the sun was so bright it as hard to look along the street, so I took a walk to the riverbank overlooking Monnow Bridge. The photo' is of the sun over the river next to the medieval church of St Thomas The Martyr (1180AD). Such a differnet day to yesterday's fog!

I was home intime to watch the Watford v Cardiff City FC game on tv. With Watford being at the top of the league it wasn't a game I expected Cardiff to win, but they were awesome and we won 1-2! 

Nice to have a quiet evening at home. Lots of leftovers to finish!
