... snapped from the passenger seat of the car on the way back home from Mum's. 

Had a nice morning with Mum - managed to fit in another quick game of boccia (which I forgot to say we also played yesterday).  Unfortunately however, before that, we discovered a leak coming through the kitchen ceiling from the loo upstairs - Tim sorted it out by emptying the cistern and turning off the isolator valve - then ducked out of the game to keep going and checking on it.  All sorted for now though - and Mum can get a plumber out in a non-urgent way at some point.

We had some lunch with Mum, then got packed up while her carer was there - and said goodbye to her after that, and got on the road.  Bit of a busier journey, but not a bad one - and very glad to get back to lovely Ilfracombe and our lovely home (and even lovelier bathroom!)

Carried on the Christmassyness back at home by watching the new Wallace and Gromit - very good.
