On my walk

Always good to learn something new. I was interested to see today that the calf had a very strange ring through its nose. Talking to a couple I learnt that it was a weaning ring, to stop the calf suckling as it was old enough to fend for itself now. These cows are very friendly and always come up to me when I pass by. At last the fog has gone and we even had a glimpse of the sun
