Dashcam

While my BMW does have a  'Drive Recorder' function from the four standard built-in cameras, they aren't quite as good as Dashcam cameras for recording good usable video material.

I decided, possibly wrongly, to get the official BMW Dashcam set, but the price of installation by BMW was extortionate. Online found an independent BMW specialist tuning garage that offered service for half the price.

They were about an hour from home and close to Lake Constance and as they wanted the car for half a day, hitched up my e-bike and thought I would spend the time cycling to the lake.

Turned out to be a dreadful rainy, cold day and impossible to get out. Luckily the young team were incredibly friendly & had a great showroom with free WiFi, coffee machine and a surplus of delicious Danish pastries that had been bought for one of the employees' birthday.

This €150k Porsche 718 belonged to one of the owners. Telltale BE in the numberplate  for Burkhart Engineering.

Great job, great experience, but weather less so.
