Boys at Play

We were up and out early today so Phil could catch a ride with friends S and J to Orcas Island for the fifth annual Geezers Gone Wild gathering.

S's little boat looked too small to take into open water to me, but I felt better when he said that it's a Bullfrog Boat, made here in Bellingham. The company's website describes their boats' main abilities as "unsinkability, stability, and durability," desirable qualities indeed.

The Super Sport Utility Boat 17 (that's how many feet long it is) that S owns is called Bullfrog Boats' "Pickup Truck for the Sea," and it was indeed impressive how much stuff the three geezers loaded into the bow storage area. The beer was stowed first, of course!
