Saturday: Festive Penguins

We divided and conquered this morning with K&J taking down the remaining shutters ahead of our window replacement and me doing the a supermarket shop.  I went relatively early and it was delightfully quiet.  Everyone must still be recovering from Christmas.  In place of the shutters, we now have cardboard stuck on the bottom half of the windows - we look most classy.

This afternoon we went into Twickenham.  We hadn’t appreciated that there was rugby one which meant there was a bus diversion and we had to walk the remaining stops.  Still, it got us in a good place for a few drinks at the very good and, new to us, ‘Brewery Market’, followed a standout meal at  Shiuli.  It was absolutely excellent.

The fishmonger had some nice festive penguins on display.
