Lacecap hydrangea

I often see white lacecap hydrangeas but not many red ones.  

Lacecap hydrangeas are fascinating plants.  They have fertile inner florets that are small but full of pollen and nectar. The inner florets are capable of developing seed. The outer florets are larger and showier but are sterile.
