My BIRTHDAY!!!!

I got up early to do my Yoga and get ready for the celebrations ... of MEEEE!
I made coffee for Neil and I got lovely presents.
One of the was an Argentinian Mate mug with a kilo of leaves!!!
Then we got ready and left the Kiez for the Eisbahn in Lankwitz.

We went ice skating!
It was a lot of fun although I felt a bit wobbly at the beginning.
Neil was just going for it steady persevering!
I used to be quite good on the ice skates but it took a bit before the muscle memory set in.
It was fun!!!
We left after a couple of hours and got back in the Kiez.
I wanted a bubbly and we went into the market hall where we right away bumped into Jutta & Bernd at the Italian.
It was lovely to see their faces lighten up when they saw us.
We spent a couple oof hours with them, had Prosecco and some pizza and Neil collected the gifts we had in the house for them.

When they left we had another cava at the Cava bar until the hall closed.
We went out in the cold and wondered if we would find some food.

We ended up at Amici Amici at Mehringdamm and it was wonderful.
The Pasta was really good and the wine was delish.

We walked home and collapsed on the couch with a cup of tea.

It was a fabulous day.
