Emergency in the neighborhood

I was finally feeling well enough to go out today, so I did. Millie needed a refill on medication, and Amelia needed prescription cat food, both of which I had to pick up at the vet. I also stopped at the store for some food and care items for Jill, who caught what I have (we suspect it's norovirus, which we got from friends' kid when they visited on Sunday).

She has it worse than I did, though she started feeling better as the day wore on.

On the way home, I had to turn around just a few houses away because the whole street was blocked after a child got hit by a car. This is the scene after I got home.
