Fogfall

After dropping off J at the station, in the fog, we took a gamble that the persistent fog was an inversion and that the top of the Beacon might be clear - and a spectacular view it turned out to be.

Luckily the Worcestershire Beacon was the nearer one as the Herefordshire Beacon is under that lot somewhere.

I've quite a lot of pictures to choose from but this one with the cloud 'falling' into the Malvern side of the hills particularly appealed.  There are more in the extras, including my first Brocken Spectre and Moonbow / Fogbow.

Back home, and down to just the two of us for a day or so before guests start arriving for our New Year games 'weekend' (Mon-Weds).
