Christmas past
The lights are packed away, the 'tree' is in pieces outside and the floor-protection sheets are back down. Before we left, we emptied the shed (at the far end of the garden through the window) ready for moving it onto its new plinth once I've found four strong people available at the same time. We stacked the things that I want to keep, which will go back into the shed in due course, under the big blue tarpaulin in the garden. We moved the tools I want access to, and the things I will sort through and mostly dispose of, into the kitchen/sitting area.
I am extremely grateful to my family for all this help - it would have been very much harder on my own.
Three of us then made our way to my mum's in London.
