Plenty of Snow Sparkle …

… at sunrise on the cross country ski piste of the Col de la Croix Road. Last year there were just chunks of ice here! A great first time on the skinny skis this year, and the conditions were so perfect it felt easy. SwissPiper has skating skis (extra) and goes much faster than me but she went gently so the old lady could keep up! She and MalcolmsEye went for lunch with more friends from her days teaching here 30 years ago. They’ll be back any minute before returning to Italy this evening. It has been lovely to have a proper catch up after a year.
