Lanercoste Priory

I had a wonderful visit to Lanercoste Proiry today. I'm extremely lucky that i love so close to such a amazing site.

This image is of the ruins of the Priory church, looking west from the Presbytery in the east. I tried to capture the scale of it in this picture but it was difficult, its so hard to imagine the sheer size of the arches and stonework unless you're actually there.

I took lots of photos but this one is among my favourite.
