TWO THINGS NEVER TO DO AT THE HCBs' HOUSE

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas with your family and friends and you all stayed well - there seem to be a lot of bugs around - but fortunately, we have all been fine.

Today we got to meet two new members of the Gang - Zappi, the Penguin and Gobbledygook, the Turkey - both bought by special friends for Mrs. HCB's birthday - and we think they will fit in very well.  Zappi says it’s cold enough for him, but a little frost wouldn’t go amiss and Gobbledygook - well, he would gobble everything in sight if we let him, but we have made sure he knows the rules!

So, we sat them down because we needed to reiterate a few important “Rules of the House”!

1. NEVER ever try to help Mr. HCB with his jigsaw puzzles - and most important of all, NEVER put a piece in when he’s not looking!!  He is usually a very kind and patient man, BUT if anyone messes with his jigsaws, well you wouldn’t believe how angry he gets and especially if it's one of his special Wentworth Wooden jigsaw puzzles, as this one is.

2. NEVER ever offer to help Mrs. HCB with eating her chocolates.  She is not called Madame Chocolat for nothing and we kid you not, if anyone is caught stealing her chocolates, she too gets very angry - in fact, you might be banished forever from their home!  She might OFFER you a chocolate, and then, of course, you are allowed to take one, but ONLY ONE and never TWO - even Mr. HCB was rationed last night - can you believe that?!  

We always make sure we say these things to the newbies so that they know the score if they want to continue to live here or in fact, if they want to continue to live!!

We think that it would make Admirer laugh if she could have seen us making sure that the new members of the Silly Saturday Gang are “up to speed” with all that goes on here but better to be safe than sorry.

We have also told the new members about BEING KIND - we know we don’t need to tell you but maybe we all need to be reminded sometimes because we all have good forgetteries.

We hope you have a great weekend and Mrs HCB wanted us to tell you how grateful she was for all your lovely comments yesterday for her 4,380th Blip - WOW - she was almost at the top of the Popular Page - now that is something we aspire to - but we are happy to wait for the right occasion!
