Ah!! Whistler!

An hour’s drive this morning got us to Vancouver in good time to meet Johnny, Jenny and family for lunch.
The second leg of the day was definitely memorable. There are a few drives that can stir the soul, and the Sea to Sky highway from Vancouver to Whistler is one of those. On a dry afternoon with intermittent sunshine, the route was at its best: spectacular views to inspire the jaded and delicious curves to tickle the driver.
After checking into the hotel there was just enough time, before the sun set, to look out over the mountain to contemplate our skiing tomorrow.
