Midair

Catching this hummingbird was a challenge.  It wouldn't sit still or hang around the feeder. It just kept flying, hovering in midair from time to time. It was one of those hovering moments during which I was able to snatch a photo.  I haven't been able to capture any of the more colorful males (this is a female) for a long time.  I see one every now and again but not when I have my camera.  Isn't that always the case?!!

WIFE: "I tell you the car has water in the carburetor."
HUSBAND: "You don't even know what a carburetor is. I'll check it out. Where's the car?"
WIFE: "In the pool."
