Mum is recovering incredibly well considering.

Had a beautiful lunch with lots of healthy light options.

Did a Jay’s Pub Quiz (from Boxing Day) on line. A picture of Frank Sinatra was displayed with the question ‘What species is this?’ It was a mistake of course but very funny.

Just before I took this blip I was faffing in a very dark barn trying to find freezer packs and spotted the amazing sunset. I then spent another 5 minutes faffing as I tried to fit the freezer packs in a cool box with loads of dips and food, mindful I was missing an amazing sunset.

Went outside with my camera to grab the end of the sunset with my phone and a very loud bird, I couldn’t see, started going mad, screeching really close to me, warning me to stay away. The upshot was I got an ok shot and had a very close encounter with an unknown species of owl. It had a massive wingspan (as it flew off) and had been sat on a beam outside about a meter or two from my head. Scary and amazing.

Today I am feeling rested and very grateful
